Hawa Mahal is popularly referred to as the Palace of Winds. It is built of red and pink sandstone. This amazing monument was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh so that women of royal families could see the royal processions without being seen. If you climb to the top of this palace you will be able to see Jantar Mantar. This is a royal observatory containing the biggest sundial in the world. The next tourist hotspot is Amber Fort. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This fort is a testimony of brilliant Rajput military architecture. It is a huge fort and you will be amazed by its grandeur.

After Amber Fort, you will be taken to see the Jantar Mantar. It takes half an hour to reach Jantar Mantar from the Amber Fort. Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh 2 built Jantar Mantar 1734.

After lunch, you will visit the Jal Mahal. This gorgeous looking palace is located right in the center of Man Sagar Lake. It is a peaceful spot.

Once you are done seeing the Jal Mahal you must head to City Palace. It was constructed in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The palace complex has huge gardens, courtyards, etc. The beautiful architecture and carvings that you see here will leave you spellbound. The palace is divided into two parts. One is for public viewing and in the other part members of the royal family live.
