Upon your arrival in Thiruvananthapuram, you will be taken to your hotel. You can spend the first day at leisure. You will stay overnight in Thiruvananthapuram.

On the second day of your journey to Kerala, you will travel to Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Napier Museum. However, make sure to visit the museum on days other than a Monday or a Wednesday afternoon since the place remains closed at this time. Also, avoid visiting the area on national holidays.if you are fond of art and culture, then you must take a trip to the Sree Chithra Art Gallery which is a part of the Napier Museum. Here you will find the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma and Nicholas Roerich. Also, you would be fascinated by the collection of bronze idols, old ornaments, and a temple chariot, if you are a lover of ancient artefacts. If you are visiting the place in August, you can watch the Nehru Trophy Boat Race held on the Punnamada Lake on the second Saturday of August, every year.
